FTNX PRIVATE PATENT (FPP)

FTNX PRIVATE PATENTS (FPP)

Advice served: 21 December 2023: Subject to final changes  in 2024.

ENTREPRENEURIAL BUSINESS ASPECT

IN 1986 FTNX CEO had invented first, a raised plastic lid for use on take out coffee. Instead of registering the invention with the local government patents office office for $35.00, I opted to secure the best Patent lawyer the city had to initiate, and lodge a full patent on my behalf. 12 ‘pending’ months later I received full patent. “A great looking and ‘important ‘ looking  document, adorned by a green sash made of fabric, made it feel as if I had a winner.” It had cost me $2000.00 to finally secure that one patent. I offered my idea and invention to one Australian  company already making paper coffee cups  with  flat lids; 3 months after making the offer, I got a call on my new ‘house brick sized’  mobile phone ( which I still have stored away) from the company, stating that they were not interested in the lid. Around 3 months later while walking in the city , I noticed a white ‘familiar’ looking lid on the footpath. The company blatantly stole by design and claimed it as their own. Furious, I went immediately to the lawyer  who had produced my patent. I was told that I have a strong case, but it would cost $30,000  dollars to stop the factory  making lids , via a court issued injunction while the case was being heard. I later learned that I did have ‘a good case,’ but no assurance that I could win the court case became evident.  Note; In that year, a good home not far from the city could readily be purchased for around $30,000 dollars. I argued with the lawyers, and was nearly sucked into issuing the injunction– by obtaining a loan against my house. I learned quickly that the company could appeal the decision to which the matter would head to a higher court. At what cost ? Potentially hundreds of thousand of dollars. I had learned a valuable lesson. A patent is not worth the paper it’s written on if you do not have the financial resources to defend it, should your invention be stolen. I was later told by my lawyers that the company had set aside a ‘slush fund’, just to take me on, should I challenge them. The company stole my patent, and there was nothing I could do about it, unless I was prepared to risk a fully blown court challenge.  Today, if such an event happened, I would have indeed challenged them, as I would have represented  myself  to which; it would have cost me very little to do so. Dishonourable people are all around us in the business of trade, as well as  localised business.

FTNX is now developing an investment project called the ‘Zehed-Bike.’ As the trading business had taught me much about making an offer, payments and contract applications being plied in the international arena. The invention being made by FTNX has produced an alternative free clean energy source to using batteries–by not using batteries. Other  possible wanted inventions has also come  to the fore while building the ‘Zehed-bike.’ I will not be paying cent to lawyers to protect such inventions internationally–because the cost to do so  is simply way beyond the reach of most people. To pay such money to have protection against an idea that anyone can steal ( as per my real life experience) is not going to happen. FTNX has figured out; that should the ZBIKE be successful, others will steal and  copy our ideas - eventually. Therefore to make a superior product from day one, and to be the first to launch such an invention, runs at my favour over the longer term. The ZBIKE is a very complex project; already exceeding $40,000 dollars at the half way mark, in seed funding via FTNX. However  much smaller inventions  costing far less, is well suited  for FPP applications. Our experience on matters on ‘inventions’ is now being advised to other. A leading ‘International’  trade expert and  ‘inventor’  has created the FPP concept. Applicants who use our FPP service are deemed LDV Club Members. “Who else could offer such a service to a lay person? Not a patent office or any other entities plying a similar product,  that’s for sure.”

FPP: HOW DOES IT WORK IN PROTECTING LDV CLUB MEMBERS

I have met many people while trading, from all over the world,  with very goods ideas; some who who had sought my advice. How can a FPP protect the interests of the inventor?

  1. The first consideration is that not all inventions can ’revealed’ on the FPP site page. An invention bearing  ‘a  feature to include visuals aspects of  design’ for instance can be easily copied once it’s displayed. Hence such inventions cannot apply this new FPP aspect. The  above said raised  coffee cup lid for instance, could not be displayed.
  2. A wanted  invention as made by the inventor, where it can be shown to work as intended, where  all the ’secrets’ of its operation is concealed internally, is the ideal type of invention that can be listed, even though the actual feature of  its outright design is externally visible.

As an Example:

So, LDV Member  No; 33432,  from USA is submitting a  24 volt  solar ‘Bud’ unit bearing the shape of a flower. The claim made is that a 12 inch disc size contraption, facing and tracking the sun can produce more electricity  than a  24 volt flat solar panel measuring one metre by one metre square, as seen on many roof tops around the world. The way it works internally  is hidden from prying eyes. The actual unit can be visually  exposed to deliver clean lines and material from which it’s made. The inventor has a full working model which he has made, as funded from his own pocket. The inventor has not taken out a standard patent or has a patent but has not revealed  the internal workings of the ‘Solar bud.’  This is an ideal invention suited for FPP applications.The inventor is ready to prove the ‘claims made’ with an  actual working model. Claims made may include  for instance;

(1) MANUFACTURING:  Invention is easy to make from easily sourced material. No specialised or rare materials were used.

(2) PERFORMANCE: Invention will out perform a 24 volt one metre by metre solar panel equivalency.

(3) RELIABILITY: Invention will  work under continuous use, without any issues, as per claims made– during a test run  being conducted in front of potential buyers.

(4) PRICE SOUGHT: The inventor is asking for US$ 500,000 dollars for his invention

(5) PROTOTYPE: The inventor is ready  to run a test in front of  pre  qualified potential buyers; any time once registered, as per conditions expressed on the the registration form

(6) EMISSIONS: Recycling the material once its lifespan has arrived, is easily done in return  offering added aspect of lowering carbon emissions.

(7) DECLARATION: The Inventor formally make claim to his invention and the idea  which spawned its development. (e.g: expensive beautifully designed  homes covered with ugly solar panels. Solar buds uses 70 percent less roof space)

An Idea is worth 2 cents; a novel invention already working, is worth a lot more; a wanted sought after invention, that can prove the claims being made  often attracts a huge amount of money. The applicant is legally  selling the provable  ‘claims’ made attached to the invention, without the need to  lawfully disclose internal workings until purchase takes place. This is how an inventor can readily sell a good wanted invention; by proving a claim made– but that’s  only part of it

FTNX INVOLVEMENT

FTNX  is a leading trade expert, best selling academic author, as well as an inventor, and has experience in conducting international business – is the first aspect offered on my our skill set will be needed if a sale eventuates. Inventors need to know that an expert with real experience  in all matters stated, is personally supporting the sale of their invention and that; the inventor will not need to worry about  making a mistake, when offering their invention for others to consider purchasing outright or for royalties–or both. Most inventors don’t like paper work and bureaucracy involved  with  government supported novel patents. “How is it a good idea to reveal an invention for 12 months, for all to see openly,  before a full patent is granted.” To have your idea stolen in where you don’t have there financial resources to take on a financial giant, whether the idea is incepted with or without patent being lodged. Once an applicant fills in the FPP submission form, it’s valid for 12 months. FTNX will lodge the invention on the LDV members page for all to see, and for all to examine the ‘claims’ made. If an interested buyer comes forth they will need to deal with FTNX. If the invention is to be purchased then a process will begin where the inventor will need to set up a test run of the  invention locally–as instructed by FTNX. Potential International buyers must arrange to be at the place where the test is to take place. Once the test has  completed successfully, the  inventor is paid ‘as agreed’  and the buyer may then take the invention away. FTNX services all questions from buyers and obtains  the signed contract; while the inventors LDV Club membership is in force. No matter from which part of the world you come from FPP can be a safely applied, because FTNX does not even know what the internal aspects of the submitted  inventions are. The claims and final test is what the buyer is buying. What they do with the invention thereafter is their business. Once a deal is closed, the inventor obtains a Certificate from FTNX  to lay claim of their achievement as a matter of record, as supported by FTNX FPP application and date the submission was made. The applicant is allowed  to market the invention from their side  by pointing potential  interested parties to the FTNX LDV page. FTNX will also promote  such a page(s) when dealing with overseas clients, on its letter head.

COST TO BECOME A LDV CLUB MEMBER

FTNX will launch the FPP aspect on its FTNX website in 2024. If it seems that the FPP concept is going to greatly increase, a new dedicated website will be launched by years end. If no great  interest was generated with this new concept , FPP will cease after one year.  As such the cost for submitting  an invention  is as specified.

(a) For the first year  12 month minimum  exposure on FTNX website site and FTNX promotion and  participation as stated costs : US$ 96.00 for one invention being listed.

(b) Those who already are FTNX  USCT members 2015 onwards,  a token set up  payment of  US$ 32.00 applies.

(c) Should the FPP concept proceed, LDV members will have the option to renew listing at the price stated at the time

(d) Only 4 listing maximum is allowed by any LDV member in one year - as placed one month apart or longer.

HOW TO APPLY

Take a look at the example of a listing  that FTNX will provide in 2024. A FPP registration/agency template form will appear in the FTNX library in  2024.This is when FTNX will accept payments and submissions  and NOT before. Fill in the details which we will hold as confidential at all times. Pay your set up fee via Paypal. Send us your FPP registration form.  Allow one week for the listing to appear. Nothing else will need to be done. If a potential buyer is evident we will inform the applicant otherwise FTNX will attempt  to negotiate and close on the listing with interested parties contacting us  directly. If this event occurs, FTNX guidance and directives will be served to the LDV member at such a time that MUST be followed.  If FTNX does not accept the listing ( FTNX has discretion on this matter without prejudice) a reason will be served, and money already paid will not be collected from Paypal. ( If corrections sought by FTNX is not forth coming within 2 days of requesting such changes, money in PayPal will be redirected back to the applicants account)  Only the LDV members number will appear online, as FTNX is acting on behalf of an undisclosed principal initially ( the inventor) , when dealing with potential buyers.

WHAT DOES FTNX GET OUT OF IT.

If FTNX closes on an inventions, FTNX receives 10% of the purchase prices, or as  agreed upon with the inventor at the time, in writing for FPP set up, time and effort made is securing the sale. FTNX also receives great satisfaction in knowing that a LDV member was not circumvented on his  invention.

Inception Date: FPP registration form to appear for downloading from the FTNX library in mid January 2024. No payments/submissions accepted prior to inception. This pre advised information is subject to final changes in 2024 prior to inception.
